Boys Region D Playoffs

Pound and Hurley played twice this year in bball.

Pound won by 8 at home.
Hurley won by about 20 at Hurley.

All single games (quarterfinals at satellite sites) are supposed to be played at 7:00 p.m. Talked with Barry Reed, Region D Tournament director, and he informed me of this. The Region D handbook states that 6:30 p.m is the start time for first of the two semi-final games.

I believe the Waynick kid at Hurley is 6'7" or 6'8". Pretty skinny but tall. Should be a pretty good game.

I didnt remember a big guy that played for Hurley at the UVAW tourney, was he hurt or something?

PVFAN has a point.

PV beat Appy twice while AHS only won once.
PV and GC split.

and PV won the rest of their games, while GC lost more than 2 games. I can see the issue.
If GC had beaten PV twice I would have no issue, but the teams split, and both won their conference reg. season and tourney, and the LPD was just as good as the CMD at the top.

I mis-counted they have played six I apologize. GC has played 22 games by my count and 15 of them were regional games. PV played 23 games and 22 of them were regional games. Therefore, PV's regional winning % is 91.3% while GC's is 93.3% not playing the other 7 games really helped. Again, it's not GC's fault it's the systems. Basically, region d values 14-1 over 20-2.
